Bedhills Creamery was founded by husband and wife, Rosdiadi Ramli and Nurul Hidayah Arshad in Dec 2010 in Bukit Katil, Melaka.

It was formerly known as Nurul’s Homemade Ice Cream, then changed to Nurulz Artisan Scoop and finally rebranded into a new name Bedhills Creamery in 2016.

Rosdiadi was an engineer in multinational company. After a couple of years, he had enough and didn’t feel like doing it anymore and decided to go into business full time.

Having great support from Nurul made him even more motivated. After a lot of research, reading and a trial and adjust he found that there is lack of Muslim made product in everyday food determined him to join in the food & beverage (F & B) sectors.

The idea to involve in an ice cream business started when there were a time that was hard to find finest locally made ice cream that matches up to the super-premium standard and after they experienced doubt when eating other international brand ice creams (flavours that includes liquor and gelatin made using the same machine as other flavours) they decided to make their own ice cream. After a lot of trial and adjust and later on, the ice cream was accepted by their family, friend and public through pasar malam and small gathering with friends and family.

 

Then the moment came where they decided that it is that time already to share the love of ice cream with ice cream fans out there. The love of sharing the fun, funky and crazy ice cream flavor experience have made them both ready to go BIG and open a scoop shop.

 

Besides, Nurul has always dream of opening a homemade ice cream and candy shop since her childhood. It was the opportunity to make it REAL and seeing all the happy (and weird faces) when they taste the ice creams it the best satisfaction. ICE CREAM MAKES YOU HAPPY.
